Respect starts at the Interview

There are no perfect candidates or organizations. If you want to recruit and retain the right people, candidates must see that your organization truly values them. This includes their time, professional insights, and career goals. Multimonth (or even year) hiring processes, low-ball offers, and egotistical attitudes that mirror the interview scene from Men In Black, "We're the best of the best of the best," aren't "weeding out" people that aren't "devoted enough" to your company. They are selecting staff willing to put up with bad processes -- often to the detriment of their own careers. #SituationalAwareness #Leadership #Respect
